A PAIR OF EARLY 19TH CENTURY MAHOGANY SPIRAL TWIST PEAT BUCKETS.

Irish, circa 1810.

Note, spiral twist peat buckets of this form are the most sophisticated example over the more simple ribbed or plain construction.

These buckets retain their original forged brass bands and handles.
