Exceptional 18th-century French sink carved from richly veined black marble, featuring striking white veining throughout. The sink has a rectangular form centered by an elegant oval basin, framed by a finely carved moulded rim.
The surface retains its original hand-worked character, with visible hammering and chisel marks that speak to its period craftsmanship. Wear and small losses are present, consistent with age and historical use, contributing to its authentic patina.
