AN EARLY 19TH CENTURY FRENCH ORMOLU MIRROR, MOUNTS ATTRIBUTED TO PIERRE-PHILIPPE THOMIRE

Retaining the original mercury mirror plate within a plain moulded border, the outer frame inset with a chased border of flowerheads and surmounted by a pierced and trailing foliate border with anthemion, flowerbells and swans surrounding a central urn issuing fruit.
