Of elegant serpentine form, the show-frame finely carved throughout, with particularly crisp carving. Raised on four tapering front legs, executed in the Neo-Classical taste, with excellent proportions and a strong architectural presence characteristic of the period.
Upholstered in hessian and ready for a finish fabric. The frame has undergone restoration.
Note: A large 19th century linen, custom-made feather cushion has been made specifically to fit this settee.
