A FINE MID-18TH CENTURY MAHOGANY SERPENTINE FRONTED CAMEL-BACK SETTEE

English or Irish, circa 1750/55.

A George II mahogany serpentine fronted camel-bank settee in the manner of Thomas Chippendale. With out scrolling arms above eight legs, the front legs elaborately finished with blind fretwork and terminating with 18th century brass castors.

Note, upholstered in hessian and ready for a finish fabric. Restoration to frame.

Note also, we have had a large feather cushion custom made to fit this sofa.
